GardenWalk Select Massage

What does massage mean to you? Soothing Swedish for relaxation? Focused attention to help relieve areas of chronic pain and tension? Assisted stretching and connective tissue work to help with injury rehabilitation? Gentle nurturing to help calm emotional stress? Our GardenWalk Select Massage is our basic massage offering, and can be any of these and more. Each GardenWalk massage therapist uses a blend of techniques and styles to address your unique needs in a given session. We are all trained to find areas of tension and tightness and help relieve them. We don’t do a feather light, gloss-over massage; we are accustomed to working beneath the skin level, into the connective tissue and muscles, but we do our best to adjust our pressure to the level that is best for you and your system. Everyone’s tissues and tolerance to pressure are different, so we request your verbal feedback to help guide the session whenever necessary. Please let us know how you’d like to feel, what you’d like to accomplish, and any other details that will help make your massage at GardenWalk the most beneficial and enjoyable it can be. Deep Tissue Massage

*Please understand that we can do some deeper work in a GardenWalk Select Massage (see above). If you are asking for deep tissue because you want to FEEL your massage and have only received a feather light massage in the past, please consider our Select Massage. Our deep tissue massage should be reserved for those who have received deep tissue massage in the past and know that they require or prefer very firm massage throughout the session or need very deep targeted work for specific areas of chronic tightness. Not all massage therapists, and not all GardenWalk massage therapists practice deep tissue massage. Please specify deep tissue massage when scheduling so you can be paired with an appropriate massage therapist for your needs.
Prenatal Massage
40 minutes $45 / 60 minutes $65 / 80 minutes $85
This holistic massage increases general well-being for baby and mom-to-be, in addition to relieving many of the aches and discomforts the body experiences during the many changes of pregnancy. After a certain point in the pregnancy, the client will be in a side-lying position, comfortably propped and relaxed on pillows. This is the best position for mom and baby, and it allows the therapist to reach the full range of the body and any areas that need special attention. Such a great way to take care of yourself and your growing baby. (Please tell us how many weeks along you are when you call to schedule.)
Hot Stone Massage
80 minutes $100
In Hot Stone massage, the therapist applies smooth, warm stones to different areas of the body, and also massages with the stones and warm lotion or oil. As the warmth deeply permeates the tissues, tension and adhesions soften and melt away. Hot Stone Massage is popular not only because it feels luxurious and special, but because the relaxation experienced during the session can be so comforting and complete.

On-Site Chair Massage
$75 per hour, per therapist
Let GardenWalk provide on-site chair massage at your special event or for ongoing wellness. $75 per hour per therapist, with a two-hour minimum. Rate includes travel and set-up time, massage chair(s) and related supplies. Please email or call with details of your event, and we will contact you with a proposal/quote.
