Our studio operates by appointment only. To help keep the costs of our services affordable, we have minimal front desk staffing and do not take walk-ins for massage.
Though we can sometimes arrange for same and next-day appointments, it is best to schedule at least 48 hours in advance. Once you visit GardenWalk, we recommend scheduling your next appointment before you leave, so you can be sure to get a session with the therapist of your choice, at a time that fits your schedule. Also, committing to regular massage and scheduling ahead of time for your next session will help you feel good about taking good care of yourself.
When you call to schedule, please let us know if you are looking for a general holistic massage or one of our specialty massages. If you are pregnant, please let us know how far along you will be at the time of your appointment. We will do our best to match you with a therapist whose specialties and schedule meet your requests.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, but not earlier. Because of our limited front desk staff, we may not be available to greet you prior to this time. Should you arrive earlier, you may want to tour our lovely neighborhood until closer to your appointment time.
Our massage times refer to hands-on time. In other words, if you schedule a 60 minute massage, you will receive 60 minutes of hands-on massage. Please plan to be at GardenWalk an additional 15 – 20 minutes total, for talking with your therapist before and after your session, filling out paperwork, payment, rescheduling, etc.
You will need to provide us a with a credit card number to confirm your first appointment. In the event that we do not receive six hours notice of a change or cancellation, your card will be charged a flat fee of $30 per session.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and do not call, you will be charged 100% of the session fee.
If you are using a gift certificate as payment for your appointment, please tell us the gift certificate number when you call to schedule. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show with a gift certificate, we will reduce the value of the gift certificate by the amounts listed above, rather than charging a credit card.
We will make an effort to make a reminder call the day prior to your scheduled appointment, but ultimately, you are responsible for keeping your appointment.
We understand that unexpected things happen in life. We are somewhat flexible, but have to adhere to a professional schedule. Return clients who cannot give us six hours notice are asked to pay a courtesy fee of $20 for missed appointments.
Please call us as soon as possible when you find that you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
